Importing file from la Cinémathèque
[edit]Just learned about Le Cinéma du Peuple and i'm interested in uploading the video file for Les Misères de l'aiguille, a 1914 silent film by Raphaël Clamour (1885-1943). The file is available to watch at the Cinémathèque française website, which uses a Vimeo interface set to private (which doesn't allow me to download).
I turn to you because you have previously uploaded File:The Half-Breed (1916).webm and Jean Epstein's The Fall of the House of Usher directly from the Cinémathèque .--Mayimbú (talk) 19:53, 21 January 2025 (UTC)
- Sure, I'll see if I can prepare an upload of it. Am I correct in interpreting the description to mean that everything after the cut at 14:13 is from a separate work? hinnk (talk) 00:24, 25 January 2025 (UTC)
- @Mayimbú It's available at File:Les Misères de l'aiguille (1914) excerpt.webm. hinnk (talk) 10:18, 26 January 2025 (UTC)
- It's from a separate work, but it remains unidentified (an orphan film). Dunno if it counts as public domain due to a lack of release date. --Mayimbú (talk) 18:23, 28 January 2025 (UTC)
