Christopher Santantasio

Christopher Santantasio’s fiction and essays have appeared in Hayden’s Ferry Review, One Story, Epiphany, SmokeLong Quarterly, DIAGRAM, and elsewhere. His story “Persistence” was named a Distinguished Story in Best American Short Stories 2019. He holds an MFA from The Ohio State University, and was named a finalist for the 2020 Janus Prize from the Chautauqua Institution.

Originally from the Hudson Valley, he lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his partner, and is a fiction editor at The Rumpus. He is at work on a novel and a collection of short stories.
